About the program host:
Mike Allen, owner of Precision Physical Therapy and Performance, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 12 years of outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine experience. He has spent countless hours of post-graduate work studying hands-on treatments and exercise prescription that is designed to maximize movement and strength. Many of those hours have been spent studying baseball pitchers, and the development of arm care and strength and conditioning programs specific to that population. His knowledge of body mechanics has allowed him to learn and understand the specific needs of throwing athletes. Mike’s passion for treating baseball players started as a pitcher himself through high school, having experienced arm troubles personally. In retrospect, the issues he encountered could have been preventable with the proper programming. This was the origin of his passion for wanting to help pitchers of all ages meet their goals and minimize risk for injury. Through years of experience treating baseball players, he has developed the Precision Arm Care Program. He hopes that his knowledge and experience can help many pitchers of all ages to reach their full athletic potential.
